How Alternative Medicine Should Integrate With Other Options

Here is a nice article that shows how acupuncture and alternative methods should be incorporated into health care. Note in this article how the physician focuses on the person and not just symptoms. That I think is where allopathic medicine too often falls short.

Allopathic training teaches the practitioner to look at signs and symptoms as though they are somehow separate from the person as a whole, then make a diagnosis and match that with the latest acceptable treatment or medicine. Life issues that might be contributors are rarely investigated.
