Integrative Medicine and Total Health

Integrative medicine seems to be a more useful term than alternative in some ways, as it implies taking the whole patient into account.  Alternative medicine just means something that is not in the mainstream of medicine, which could, and does change over time. Integrative medicine could incorporate mainstream as well as “alternative” therapies.
