How Light and Color Therapy is Used

Color and light therapy seemed to me to be one of those alternative medicine methods whose benefits are exaggerated. But then I realized how much light and color affect me throughout my daily life. Even though I am blue green color blind, I do notice a difference in feeling dependent on the color of a room. And what about the way a room is illuminated. Certainly overhead flourescent lights impose a different feeling than low warm lights from lamps on tables.
And certainly there is daylight therapy for people with seasonal affective disorder, or SADD.
But color and light therapy goes even farther. Here are some links with more on therapy and products that are out there. Make up your own mind on whether the claims are exaggerated, or whether there is some truth to them.
